T.W.Smith founded his namesake company in 1956, beginning with one location in the Silicon Valley area of Northern California. Mr.Smith's father was veteran of the wholesale business in San Francisco, and now the plumbing wholesale business is a Smith family tradition that continues to the present day. The Smith family still runs T.W.Smith Company with allegiance to the same values that brought Mr.Smith's initial success. T.W.Smith Company now has six separate branches at five different locations-San Jose, Sacramento, Loomis, Grass Valley and Gilroy- with a total of 175,000 square feet of space.
